چکیده

This paper aims to investigate the dynamic behavior of composite steel–concrete floor systems under both free and forced vibrations. A combination numerical analytical methods was comprehensively employed calibrate suggested solutions extend application accurate in future design purposes. Different commercial Finite Element Packages including ABAQUS/CAE Strand7 were precisely utilized. The obtained results from Simulations broadly compared with available international guidelines British Standard BS 6472 standard ISO 10137. first 10 active vibration modes different beam numerically investigated. concrete slabs by respecting designated various types secondary primary steel components examined. It found that lengths beams can considerably influence computed fundamental frequencies response factors simulated system. Based on carrying out an extensive parametrical study, further practical recommendations provide a reliable benchmark for structural designers.

Free and Forced Vibration Analysis of Composite Laminated Conical Shells under Different Boundary Conditions Via Galerkin Method

In this paper, natural frequency and response of forced vibration of composite laminated conical shells under different boundary conditions are investigated. To this end, equations of Donnell's thin shell theory are used as governing equations. The analytical Galerkin method together with beam mode shapes as weighting functions is employed to solve the problem. Due to importance of boundary con...

The Dynamic and Vibration Response of Composite Cylindrical Shell Under Thermal Shock and Mild Heat Field

In this article, the vibration and dynamic response of an orthotropic composite cylindrical shell under thermal shock loading and thermal field have been investigated. The problem is that the shell is initially located at a first temperature, and some tension caused by a mild heat field is created, then the surface temperature of the cylinder suddenly increases. The partial derivative equations...

Diaphragm Behavior of Deconstructable Composite Floor Systems

This study investigates the seismic behavior of deconstructable composite steel/concrete floor systems consisting of precast concrete planks and deconstructable clamping connections attaching the planks to the steel floor beams. The system is proposed to promote sustainable design of composite steel/concrete floor systems in steel buildings via reuse of the structural steel and concrete compone...

Free and Forced Vibration Analysis of Functionally Graded Material Cylinders by a Mesh-Free Method

In this paper, free and forced vibration analysis of functionally graded material cylinders was carried out by mesh-free and finite element method. In this analysis, MLS shape functions are used for approximation of displacement field in the weak form of motion equation and essential boundary conditions are imposed by transformation method. Resulted set of differential equations are solved usin...

Variational Iteration Method for Free Vibration Analysis of a Timoshenko Beam under Various Boundary Conditions

In this paper, a relatively new method, namely variational iteration method (VIM), is developed for free vibration analysis of a Timoshenko beam with different boundary conditions. In the VIM, an appropriate Lagrange multiplier is first chosen according to order of the governing differential equation of the boundary value problem, and then an iteration process is used till the desired accuracy ...
